At Hemp North Ltd we specialise in hemp seed production and mechanical processing of British hemp seed to produce popular health food products. Our products are made with 100% natural hemp seed, grown in Northumberland. They are nutritious, sustainable and extremely versatile.

Production Facilities
We have a 3-tiered production system. Firstly wholeseed is sent directly from farms in Northumberland to our SALSA accredited dehulling facility in Bedlington, Northumberland. Here we produce high-quality dehulled/shelled hemp seeds.
Secondly we send wholeseed to Nottingham, to the largest cold-pressing facility in the UK, where it is cold-pressed to produce our Hemp Seed Oil.
Finally, the by-product from oil pressing is delivered to Berwick in Northumberland where our protein powder and flour products are milled.
These dedicated production facilities ensure we are producing the best possible quality products with rigorous food safety standards in place under both SALSA and BRC.
